Product description
Springbank Distillery was founded in 1828 and today still remains in hands of descendants of the founding family.
The distillery sits in the heart of Campbeltown, town/whisky-producing region situated on the Kintyre peninsula. Between 1880s and 1920 there were 34 operating distilleries, but only two survived to the new Millennium. Springbank 10 years old debuted in 2000 and was immediately included into core range. It is a mixture of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks bottled without chill-filtration at 46% abv. In 2014 Springbank 10 years old picked up the top prize in its category at the Annual World Whisky Awards.
