Product description
Glen Scotia, built in 1832, is today one of three distilleries operating in Campbeltown, the smallest whisky producing district in Scotland.
Almost the entire 20th century was not a happy one for the plant, bankrupt owners and production interruptions meant that both the buildings and the distillery equipment welcomed the new century in a deplorable state. Since 2019, the distillery has belonged to Hillhouse Capital Management, which bought it from the Exponent capital group. The Glen Scotia 10 year old Classic Campbeltown Malt presented here was aged in bourbon barrels and is one of the core of the basic offer.
