Product description
Bladnoch, the Scotland most southerly distillery, was founded in 1817 by brothers Thomas and John McClelland.
The distillery frequently changed owners, within the last 40 years there are five on the list – Inver House, Arthur Bell & Sons, United Distillers, Raymond Armstrong and finally David Prior. The last contract (2015) included several thousand casks of whisky dating back to the 1980s and the new distillery manager, Ian MacMillan, decided to refill some of them into new quality casks in order to get ready for limited releases to celebrate the distillery’s 200th Anniversary. Bladnoch Distiller’s Choice was part of the range before the last change in ownership.
