Product description

Heartwood is one of five Auchentoshan offerings aimed at Travel Retail customers.

All five pay homage to wood, with each whisky on offer referencing a different stage of the tree’s growth and its potential impact on the whisky palette. Heartwood is Springwood’s older brother and refers to the tree at its strongest. The whisky has been matured in ex-bourbon and ex-Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.

Aroma : pleasant combination of orange oil, brown sugar, apples, pears and walnuts.

Palate: rich milk chocolate with raisins, vanilla, roasted nuts and traces of orange peel.

Finish: medium long, slightly dry with oak and nut notes.
