Product description
The history of Littlemill Distillery spans three centuries (1772-1994), during which time the plant changed hands many times and experienced long interruptions in production.
The last change came in 1994, when the defunct distillery was acquired by Loch Lomond Distillery Co. Their intention was to resume production on a small scale and organize a small whisky museum on the premises. Reality turned out to be different, two years later the distilling equipment was removed from the distillery, some buildings were demolished, and some were destroyed by fire. The Littlemill presented here, distilled on 4th May 1977, spent over a quarter of a century in cask no. 1152. Bottled at 49.4% abv on 14th March 2003 by Signatory Vintage in an edition of 262 bottles.
