Product description
Kingsbarns Distillery was built by the Wemyss family in 2014, spurred on by the huge success of Wemyss blended malts.
The family’s connection to whisky dates back to the early 19th century, with John Haig building the Cameronbridge Distillery on their land in 1824. Kingsbarns began distilling in March 2015, with its single malt debuting in the summer of 2018. The distillery operates a single pair of stills and uses locally grown barley. Kingsbarns Bell Rock is a limited edition (2,208 bottles) from 2021 – a blend of distillates aged in Oloroso (American oak) sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks from Heaven Hill Distillery, bottled at 46% abv and unchill-filtered.
