Product description
Glenkinchie Distillery is located in the village of Pencaitland, approximately 15 miles south-east of Edinburgh. The distillery is owned by Diageo and supplies malt spirits for most of the company's blended spirits.
Glenkinchie was largely unknown until the late 1980s when United Distillers (a previous incarnation of Diageo) included a 10-year-old in its prestigious Classic Malts edition . For two decades, the 10-year-old remained in the distillery's core range, before being replaced by a 12-year-old in 2007.
