Product description

One of Auchentoshan’s latest offerings, debuted in 2014. American Oak is the first whisky from this distillery to be aged exclusively in bourbon barrels, first fill.

Its name refers to the white American oak ( Quercus Alba ) that grows in the forests of Missouri and Arkansas and is used by law to age bourbons. We recommend this whisky to anyone interested in the influence of bourbon barrels on the palette of Scottish single malt .

Color : amber gold

Aroma:  mild and creamy with notes of vanilla, coconut flakes, lemon peel, heather honey, caramel and raisins.

Taste:  fresh and delicate, crème brûlée, vanilla, peaches, citrus, coconut flakes and a delicate trace of hay.

Finish:  short with tones of grapefruit, vanilla and oak.
