Product description
Glenturret Distillery is based in Perthshire in the southern Highlands. It began producing whisky in 1775, making it the oldest Scottish distillery still in operation.
Glenturret is also the spiritual home of Famous Grouse, the most popular Scotch whisky in its native Scotland, with global sales of over 3 million cases per year. In 2009, the distillery began producing a heavily peated spirit, which it uses in its Black Grouse blend. Since 2019, Glenturret Distillery has been part of the Glenturret Holding joint venture, in which Lalique Company and Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss hold equal shares. Glenturret Peated Edition debuted in late 2014, and is currently offered at 43% ABV.
