Glenluig 10-year-old Highland Whiskey / 40% / 0.7l
- Glenluig is another mysterious whisky released by Invergordon Distillers as a part of their Malts of Scotland range.
Product description
Glenluig is another entry in Invergordon Distillers’ mysterious Malts of Scotland series. As with other editions, such as Ferintosh and Druichan, the company does not reveal the source of the distillate, only the region.
Glenluig single malt comes from the Highlands, most likely from the Dalmore distillery (Glenluig Distillery began operating in 1812, but little is known about its history). Dalmore Distillery, like Invergordon Distillers, belongs to Whyte & Mackay, which was acquired by Imperador Inc. in 2014. Glenluig 10 years old debuted on the Spanish market, after which it was distributed in other European Union countries. Previous editions of Malts of Scotland were based on whiskies from distilleries associated with Invergordon - we know that the Ferintosh brand is Tamnavulin, Craignure is an alternative version of Jura, and Druichan is most likely Bruichladdich.
