The standard Aberfeldy 21 years old debuted in 2005, and almost a decade later the limited Black edition hit the market.
The distillates used in it matured in bourbon barrels, then went into individually numbered bottles, and then into attractive commemorative cases. The Aberfeldy Distillery has been producing whisky since 1898. It is equipped with two pairs of stills, and its production capacity exceeds 3.5 million litres of alcohol per year.
Aroma : honeyed and fruity with notes of malt, citrus, vanilla, herbs, beeswax, ginger, moss and oak.
Taste : mild, vanilla, honey, caramel, milk chocolate, oranges, eucalyptus drops, traces of oak, hay and herbs.
Finish: long and pleasant with notes of sweet peaches, vanilla and honey.
