Product description
Glen Garioch is a small distillery owned by Morrison Bowmore Distilleries, which has been under the full control of the Japanese conglomerate Suntory since 1994.
From 1884 to 1937, the distillery was owned by William Sanderson, who used the distillate there to create his own VAT 69 blend. Until 1994, there was a malt house on the premises, and the barley malted there had a phenol concentration of 10 parts per million. The 15-year-old version presented here dates from the mid-2000s and contains whisky aged in bourbon and sherry casks.
