Product description
This time there is no secret, no tongue breaking Gaelic names, no legends and mysterious stories.
Stronachie whisky comes from Benrinnes Distillery and the story goes that Dewar Rattray Ltd, the agents of the original distillery, which closed in 1928, obtained a bottle of 1904 Stronachie on auction and tried to replicate its profile. The closest match was Benrinnes and the Stronachie brand was re-born in 2002. A.D. Rattray (formerly Dewar Rattray) is currently owned by Tim Morrison of Morrison Bowmore fame, the fourth generation descendant of Andrew Dewar Rattray.
