Product description

Virgin Oak is a young single malt from the Deanston distillery. The whisky was aged in bourbon barrels and finished in virgin American white oak barrels.

We recommend it to anyone even slightly interested in the influence of new oak on the single malt palette . Deanston Virgin Oak is bottled without chill filtration, at 46.3% abv.

Aroma : fresh and malty, lemongrass, vanilla, ground pepper and young oak.

Palate : sweet breakfast cereal, vanilla, toffee, unripe citrus, lemon peel, tannins and hay.

Finish : quite short, spicy, with a hint of young oak.
