Clynelish 1992 (B.2007) Distillers Edition / 46% / 1.0l

Despite its huge acclaim among independent distributors, Clynelish has always been one of those single malts that has been underappreciated by consumers.

This changed in the 21st century, with its inclusion in the expanded Classic Malts and Distillers Edition series . In 2007, Clynelish made a second appearance in the latter. After 14 years in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky was finished in Oloroso Seco sherry butts .

Aroma:  rich, quite strong sherry tones, cherries, oranges, raisins, honey, delicate nutty and herbal notes.

Taste:  deep, cherries, blueberries, almond croissants, fruit cake rich in dried fruit, a pinch of salt and spices, delicate oak bitterness.

Finish:  long, walnuts, sea salt and mild sherry notes in the background.
