Product description
Finealta (Gaelic for 'elegance') debuted in late 2010 as the second edition of the extremely highly acclaimed Private Edition series .
If the company's statement is to be believed, Finealta is a replica of early 20th century Glenmorangie whisky, distilled from low-phenolic barley and aged in American white oak and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks. The distillery's archives are said to show that this is the Glenmorangie served at the Savoy in London at the time. In 2012, Finealta won a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition .
