Product description
The Single Malts of Scotland, a series of whiskies from the Elixir Distillers portfolio, debuted in 2005.
The company was founded by brothers Sukhinder and Raj Singh, whose life passion is whisky. Their online store The Whisky Exchange has been operating since 1999 and today offers almost 8 thousand spirits (in 2021 its new owner became the Pernod Ricard group). The company is also the publisher of the Elements of Islay series, which includes the Port Askaig brand. In the Single Malts of Scotland series, we find whiskies bottled with a natural color, at cask strength and without chill filtration, usually in the single cask version. The Ben Nevis presented here, distilled on February 12, 1997, spent almost a quarter of a century in a sherry cask type butt no. 105, and was bottled at cask strength (57.7% abv) on April 1, 2021 in an edition of 561 bottles.
