Tomatin Contrast Twin Pack / 46% / 2 x 0.35l
- Tomatin Contrast is a limited edition pack of Tomatin Single Malt comparing fully matured bourbon and sherry casks whiskies from this Highland distillery.
Product description
“Contrast” is a limited edition of the single malt Tomatin, showing the influence of the casks (bourbon and sherry) on the aromatic and flavour palette of the whisky.
The set consists of two 350ml bottles, each containing a blend of whiskies distilled in 1973, 1977, 1988, 1991, 2002 and 2006, with one aged exclusively in bourbon casks and the other in sherry casks. The casks and their blend were selected by distillery manager Graham Eunson with the idea of showing consumers the influence of the wood on the same distillate. The whisky was bottled at 46% abv, with a natural colour and without chill filtration, and the edition consisted of 5,400 two-bottle sets. (Official tasting note.)
