Product description
Royal Lochnagar, the smallest distillery in the Diageo’s portfolio, is situated about a mile from Balmoral Castle, the summer residence of the Royal Family.
The distillery is equipped with a single pair of small stills and produces close to 500 thousand liters of spirit per annum. In the past Royal Lochnagar was associated with VAT 69, currently it is a signature malt of Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Windsor. The 12 years old expression has been around for more than three decades. It comprises whiskies aged primarily in third fill sherry butts and third fill American oak hogsheads. In 2008 Royal Lochnagar 12 years old was included into extended Classic Malts range.
