Product description
Pike Creek whisky debuted at the turn of the century as part of Corby Distilleries Ltd.'s prestigious Canadian Whisky Guild series.
The three whiskies it contained (apart from Pike Creek, Lot No. 40 and Gooderham & Worts) did not achieve the expected market success and soon disappeared from the market. Pernod Ricard took over Corby Distilleries in 2005 and after a few years decided to give Pike Creek whisky a second chance. Initially, Pike Creek was a blend aged in port barrels, since autumn 2016 its final maturation takes place in rum barrels. In the 21st century, Pike Creek remains one of the most interesting Canadian whiskies.
