Product description
Forty Creek Copper Pot Reserve is a premium version of the award-winning Forty Creek Barrel Select. It is another creation from John Hall, who has been breaking the mold and producing innovative whiskey for over 20 years.
Hall uses all the grains used to distill bourbon, but he produces three single grain spirits, which he calls pure grains - 100% corn, 100% rye, and 100% barley - and matures them in this form. John uses longer-aged spirits from the finest barrels in the Copper Pot Reserve, and has bottled his work at 43% ABV. In 2007, John Hall was named "Pioneer of the Year" by the Malt Advocate, and 10 years later he was honored with a "Lifetime Achievement" award by the Canadian Whisky Awards.
