Product description
Bearface is a Canadian whisky from the Bearface Spirtis portfolio, a company owned by Mark Anthony Wines & Spirits.
The company does not have its own distillery, nor does it disclose which Canadian distillery it cooperates with. The purchased single grain whisky, originally aged in American oak barrels, is transported to Mission Hill in British Columbia and there undergoes a double finishing maturation. Its first phase takes place in French red wine oak barrels, the second in roasted (not charred) Hungarian oak barrels. According to the producer, "the 'elemental aging' process takes place in tin containers, where the conditions are identical to those outside, and the extreme climatic conditions of the pristine areas of Canada accelerate the interaction of the drink with the wood."
