Product description
Canadian Club is the oldest Canadian whisky brand.
Hiram Walker introduced it to the market in 1884 as Club Whisky and it soon gained incredible popularity among members of private clubs in the States and Canada. The name Canadian Club has been in use since 1890. The whisky is produced in Walkerville, Ontario, using the barrel blending process, which is blending the component distillates right after distillation and maturing the finished blend. The main grain input is corn supplemented with rye and rye and barley malt. Canadian Club Distillery is now owned by Pernod Ricard, while the whisky brand is part of the Beam Suntory portfolio. While the standard version is aged for 6 years, the Classic presented here spends twice as long in barrels.
