Product description
The creator of Canadian Club whisky is the father of Canadian whisky, Hiram Walker. The history of the brand dates back to 1858. It is distilled at the Hiram Walker distillery in Walkerville, Ontario.
The whiskey was initially called "Club Whisky". In the 1890s, the American government, under pressure from domestic distillers, tried to limit the import of the excellent "Club Whisky", ordering the place of production of the drink to be placed on the label. Hiram Walker added the term "Canadian" to the name of his whiskey and sales of Canadian Club increased even more. The whiskey is composed mainly of rye distillates, aged for 6 years in oak barrels. Canadian Club is sold in 150 countries and is the most popular Canadian whiskey in the world.
