Product description
Snake River Stampede Whiskey debuted in August 2006 as a result of the combined efforts of the president of Indio Spirits from Oregon and the director of the Snake River Stampede rodeo from Idaho, who met on a flight from Boise to Portland.
Both agreed that the combination of whiskey and rodeo guarantees success. Snake River Stampede is distilled, aged and blended in Canada, and bottled in Oregon, and remains the official spirit of the aforementioned rodeo. The limited edition 1915 presented here commemorates the centennial of the aforementioned rodeo. It is a Canadian blended whiskey distilled according to the formula: 40% rye, 30% corn and 30% malted barley. The basic maturation in bourbon barrels lasted from 4 to 8 years, the whiskey spent another 2 years in rye whiskey barrels, and finally finished for 6 months in sherry barrels.
