Product description
Springbank Distillery was established in 1828 on the site where Archibald Mitchell illegally distilled and remains Scotland's most unique whisky producer to this day.
It has been owned by the Mitchell family since 1837 and in the 21st century is the only distillery that carries out the entire production cycle, from malting to bottling, on one estate. Springbank's commercial offer changes from year to year, the 18-year-old version was added to the permanent offer in 2009 and experiences annual limited editions. The combination of the release presented here from May 2023 used sherry casks (65%), bourbon casks (20%) and rum casks (15%). The whisky was bottled with natural color and without chill filtration.
