Product description
Aberlour 12 years old has been a mainstay of the distillery’s core offering for decades.
In 2012, a new version of the 12-year-old debuted in France, a traditional blend of distillates aged in bourbon and sherry casks, but this time not chill-filtered and bottled at an alcohol content increased to 48%. This edition was a huge success and a year later it was available in the rest of Europe and overseas. Aberlour Distillery is located in Speyside at the confluence of the Lour and Spey rivers and equipped with two pairs of stills produces 3.8 million liters of distillate per year. Its name loosely translated from Gaelic means "mouth of the whispering brook". The brand's global annual sales amount to 3.2 million bottles (2019).
