The old, now collector's edition of Cardhu 12 years old, in our opinion from the 1980s.

Cardhu (Gaelic for "black rock") has been a key ingredient in Johnnie Walker blends for over a century (the Walkers bought the distillery in 1893). It has also long been in the top ten most popular single malts , although sales in key countries France, Greece and Spain have fallen in recent years due to the financial crisis.

Aroma: sweet, slightly malty, with notes of vanilla, honey and garden flowers.

Taste: mild, cereal flakes, blades of dry grass, vanilla, honey and delicate oak notes.

Finish: not too long, apricots, toffee and toasted oak.
