Product description
A fifteen-year-old whisky that owes its distinctive character to the selective maturation process, during which part of the alcohol is aged in French oak barrels. The English oak is cut in the Dordogne region in France, where it is used to age cognacs. Its low density allows the whisky to penetrate deep into the wood, which allows for a unique and pleasant palate-friendly expressiveness of taste. This process increases the intensity of the whisky's aroma, allowing for a rich, creamy finish.
Nose : rich, creamy, vanilla, caramel, green grapes, apples, grapefruit, traces of pepper and cinnamon, pine resin and cedar wood.
Palate: mild, fruity, apples, pears, vanilla, crème brûlée, hazelnuts, a pinch of nutmeg and oak notes in the background.
Finish : long, oaky and spicy with noticeable nutty notes.
