Product description
Auchroisk Distillery began operation in 1974. It was built by Justerini & Brooks to provide malt distillate for the production of J&B blends .
The single malt Auchroisk turned out to be so excellent that it hit the market a dozen or so years later as Singleton of Auchroisk 12 years old. Since 1998, both the distillery and the J&B blend have belonged to Diageo, which included Auchroisk in its renowned Flora & Fauna series (withdrawn from the market a few years ago). Almost the entire production of the Auchroisk distillery today goes into blends from the Diageo portfolio.
