Product description
Cragganmore single malt definitely does not lead the sales statistics, but in 1988 it was included in the United Distillers Classic Malts series as a representative of Speyside.
Its main rival at the time was Mortlach. Cragganmore sells just over 350,000 bottles a year and in our opinion it is one of the most underrated whiskies on the market today. The 12 year old has been on offer for over 30 years and is an excellent example of a Speyside single malt .
Aroma: perfectly balanced, fruity, floral, heather, honey, vanilla, traces of nuts and hay.
Taste: rich and full, creamy, peaches, cherries, dried plums, nut nougat, almonds, with a hint of peat smoke behind them.
Finish: long and pleasant, creamy and malty, ripe fruit, traces of peat smoke.
