Product description
Convalmore Distillery was one of dozens of victims of Scotland's whisky overproduction in the 1980s.
Built in 1893 by Glasgow brokers, it was soon taken over by WP Lowrie & Co. and supplied malt spirits for the Black & White blend . Convalmore joined DCL in 1925 and for the next 60 years, its whisky was replaced by many of the group's blends . In 1985, it distilled for the last time. In 2003, the 24-year-old Convalmore was included in the prestigious Rare Malts series . 6,000 individually numbered bottles were released.
