Product description
Speyburn is probably not the most sought-after single malt, but it finds buyers for over half a million bottles each year, and in the US for years the brand has been in the top ten in its category. Since 1991, the distillery has belonged to the Inver House company and after its recent reconstruction, it produces over 4.5 million liters of distillate annually. Speyburn Solera 25 years old, a creation of distillery manager Robert Anderson, debuted in 2007, blended from distillates aged in American oak bourbon and Fino sherry barrels blended in the solera system. In the fall of 2012, the Solera 25 years old edition was replaced by Speyburn 25 years old, also blended from distillates aged in bourbon and sherry barrels, but without using the solera system.
