Product description
Cragganmore single malt is definitely not a sales leader, but in 1988 it was added to the United Distillers Classic Malts series as a Speyside representative. Its main rival at the time was Mortlach.
Just over 350,000 bottles of Cragganmore are sold annually and in our opinion this is one of the more underrated whiskies currently on the market. The 12 year old has been on offer for over 30 years and is an excellent example of a Speyside single malt .
Aroma : perfectly balanced, fruity, floral, heather, honey, vanilla, traces of nuts and hay.
Taste : rich and full, creamy, peaches, cherries, dried plums, nut nougat, almonds, followed by a hint of peat smoke.
Finish : long and pleasant, creamy and malty, ripe fruit, traces of peat smoke.
