Product description
The Connoisseurs Choice series is the brainchild of George Urquhart, a second-generation member of the family who owned Gordon & MacPhail and a great whisky visionary.
Since 1968, the series has featured nearly 100 distilleries, presenting nearly 2,000 editions. In 2018, the company redesigned Connoisseurs Choice, giving it a more contemporary, elegant look and also included cask strength and wood finishes. The Glen Grant featured here, distilled in 2009, spent over 13 years in a first-fill sherry butt #900938. The whisky was bottled on 21 February 2023 at 59.1% abv, natural colour and unchillfiltered as batch 23/069 of the series. The edition consisted of 642 bottles.
