Product description
Rebel Yell is a wheated bourbon from the Luxco portfolio, a company based in St. Louis, Missouri. The brand debuted in 1936, described as “the epitome of the South.”
Until 1984, it was available only in the Southern states, and its local success led to its expansion into the Yankee states. Luxco bought the rights to Rebel Yell from Diageo in 1999 and has recently been spending a lot of money on marketing it. In 2015, the presentation was changed and several new versions were released, including the Small Batch presented here. Luxco does not own a distillery, nor does it provide information about the origin of the whiskeys it bottles. It is very likely that Rebel Yell is distilled at Heaven Hill's Bernheim Distillery in Louisville.
