Product description
Wild Turkey Kentucky Straight Bourbon came to the market in 2016, replacing the Wild Turkey 81 version in the offering (its debut coincided with a change in the presentation of the entire line).
Although the label does not specify the age of the distillate, the ones used in the list were aged for an average of 6 and 8 years. The Wild Turkey bourbon formula lists 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% barley malt; barrels with a fourth degree of roasting are used for maturation. Since 2009, Wild Turkey has been owned by Gruppo Campari, which doubled its production capacity to 11 million liters of alcohol two years later. Annual sales of the Wild Turkey brand (including Wild Turkey American Honey) exceeded 1.5 million cases in 2017.
