Product description
Smooth Ambler Spirits, headquartered in Maxweltown, West Virginia, was incorporated in 2009.
In addition to distilling gin, vodka and whiskey, the company operates as an Independent Bottler, bottling whiskey and rum. Whiskey from other distilleries and processed on site is released on the market under the name Old Scout. The Old Scout 7 years old presented here comes from the MGP Distillery in Indiana and was distilled according to the formula of 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% barley malt. In September 2016, Old Scout editions were suspended due to the lack of sufficient amounts of properly aged distillates, and three months later the majority stake in the company was purchased by the Pernod Ricard concern.
