Bulleit 95 Rye Frontier Whiskey / 45% / 0.7l
Product description
The debut of Bulleit bourbon in 1987 is thanks to Tom Bulleit, great-great-grandson of Augustus Bulleit, who developed its formula around 1830.
In 1997, the brand was acquired by Seagram, and since 2001, it has been in Diageo's portfolio. The success of Bulleit bourbon encouraged Diageo to expand the brand to include rye whiskey. Bulleit 95 Rye Frontier Whiskey debuted in March 2011. It is distilled at the MGP Distillery in Indiana from a mash of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. Bulleit Rye is currently the most popular rye whiskey, closing 2019 with sales of 470,000 cases, outselling the second in the ranking, Old Overholt (75,000 cases) by six times.
