Product description
Four Roses whiskey debuted in 1888, introduced by Paul Jones, a Georgia distiller who had moved to Kentucky two years earlier.
In 1902, Jones sold his business to Frankfort Distilleries, which would become one of a handful of “licensed producers of medical whiskey” during the national prohibition. Seagram acquired Four Roses in 1942 and soon pulled the bourbon from the local market in favor of Four Roses Blended Whiskey (the bourbon remains available outside the U.S.). Four Roses Super Premium, also known as Platinum Label, is bottled in limited editions exclusively for the Japanese market. We’re told that 80 percent of the whiskey used in the blend is aged for eight years, while the remaining 20 percent is aged for at least 10 years.
Aroma: sweet-floral, summer meadow, vanilla, honey, brown sugar, apples, peaches, hazelnuts, mint and delicate notes of wax and oak.

Finish: medium long, with notes of honey, vanilla, summer fruits, a dash of cloves, white pepper and toasted oak.
