Product description
Straight Malt is one of the official categories of American whiskey with a supply as small as Straight Wheat.
According to the official definition, this whisky must be distilled from a mash of at least 51% malted barley and aged in fresh, charred American white oak barrels for at least 2 years. Zeppelin Bend is a proposal from Michigan-based New Holland Brewery & Artisan Spirits, originally a microbrewery and since 2005 a distillery. This whisky is the result of double distilling a mash of 100% malted barley and aging it for 3 years in fresh, charred American oak barrels (making it a single malt by European standards). Its name refers to a special knot that secures airships when they are at rest.
