Product description
With annual sales of over 10 million bottles (2021) Bushmills is ranked number three in the Irish whiskey category, right behind Jameson and Tullamore Dew (115 million and 18 million bottles sold respectively).
Since 2014 the distillery has been owned by Casa Cuervo, the owners of the José Cuervo tequila brand, who increased the distilling capacity to 9 million liters of spirit per annum. The Bushmills brand includes single malt and blended whiskeys and offers separate range for Travel Retail. Here we have the latest addition to the core range (2022), Bushmills 12 years old. The triple distilled single malt, after being aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, was transferred into ex-Marsala barriques for additional six to nine months.
