Product description
With annual sales of over one million cases a year, Tullamore Dew ranks second in the popularity statistics for Irish whiskey.
Until 1954, it was a pure pot still whiskey distilled at Daly's Distillery, later its production was moved to Power's, Midleton and Bushmills distilleries. Since 2010, the Tullamore Dew brand has belonged to William Grant & Sons, which in 2014 began building a new distillery near the village of Tullamore. The Tullamore Dew presented here is a triple-distilled single malt aged for around 18 years in traditional oak barrels and finished for at least six months in four types of casks - Oloroso sherry (butt), port (pipe), madeira (drum) and bourbon casks. The edition consisted of less than 2,500 bottles.
