Product description
Most of us remember Bushmills 10 year old single malt debuting in the summer of 1984 and to this day it remains one of the most recognisable Irish whiskeys.
It is made from distillates aged in bourbon barrels with a small addition of sherry casks. Meanwhile, in the display case at the distillery, there is a bottle of Old Bushmills 10-Year-Old, which won a gold medal at the Paris exhibition organized in 1889 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution and the presentation of the Eiffel Tower to the world. Of course, we do not know what that single malt tasted like, supposedly a sample of it extracted with a long needle was analyzed and the drink turned out to be almost identical to today's 10-year-old version. In 2021, its presentation was changed, but the company assures that the drink has remained the same.
