Bushmills 21-year-old Rare Irish Whiskey / 40% / 0.7l
Product description
With annual sales of over 8.8 million bottles (2020), Bushmills ranks third on the list of most popular Irish whiskeys behind Jameson and Tullamore Dew.
Since 2014, the distillery has been owned by Casa Cuervo, the producer of José Cuervo tequila, which plans to expand the plant and increase production capacity to 9 million liters of alcohol per year. Bushmills 21 years old debuted in 2001 and remains the oldest whisky in the company's core offering. It is composed of distillates aged for 19 years in bourbon and Oloroso sherry barrels and finished for two years in Madeira barrels. Between 2010 and 2015, this whisky won its category six times in the World Whisky Awards. In 2021, its presentation was changed, but the drink remained the same.

Palate : rich, vanilla cream, chocolate-covered raisins, plums, honey-roasted nuts, caramel, milk fudge, cinnamon, cloves and a little oak.
