Product description
Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #81 is a single malt Scotch whisky traditionally matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for between 9 and 15 years before being bottled. The A'Bunadh series (Gaelic for "original") was created in 1997 as a commemoration of the old Aberlour bottle. Each batch is hand-numbered and made to the traditional recipe, without added caramel and without chill filtration.
Batch #81 continues the tradition of offering the intense profile characteristic of the A'Bunadh series. The Aberlour Distillery is located in the heart of Speyside in the picturesque village of Aberlour, Scotland. Its history dates back to 1826, when it was founded by James Gordon and Peter Weir. However, the brand's true heyday began in 1879, when entrepreneur James Fleming, inspired by the idea of creating exceptional whisky, rebuilt the distillery after a fire.
