- GlenDronach Forgue was introduced in the early fall of 2018 as Global Travel Retail exclusive.
Product description
GlenDronach Forgue debuted in early autumn 2018 for exclusive distribution in the Travel Retail chain.
The whisky is named after the Forgue Valley, where the distillery is located, and is a blend of distillates aged in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, bottled with natural color and without chill filtration. GlenDronach is a small distillery (equipped with two pairs of stills, it can produce 1.4 million liters of spirit per year), owned by the American Brown-Forman Corporation since 2016. For decades, it has been famous for whisky aged in sherry casks, and the Forgue edition is a continuation of this tradition.
