Product description
In the early 1960s, Armando Giovinetti visited the Glen Grant distillery and, fascinated by the local whisky, convinced the owners to appoint him as their sales agent for Italy.
Glen Grant 5 years old was a huge success and other Scottish distilleries such as Balblair and Aberlour offered their own 5 year old editions. In 1992 Bushmills entered Italy with its 5 year old version and successfully competed with Scottish rivals. The whisky came mainly from bourbon casks with a small addition of sherry casks and was available exclusively on the Italian market until the mid-2000s.

Finish: not too long, malty, with notes of vanilla, milk chocolate and a pinch of white pepper.
