Art is crafted by accomplished Diageo Master Blender, Maureen Robinson, in small batches and limited quantities. After being matured in traditional oak casks the whisky is transferred into casks conditioned with rich Muscat wine for extra smoothness and complexity.
Nose: pretty rich, oranges, ripe grapes, baked apples, milk chocolate, crème brûlée, marshmallows, traces of candied ginger and hay .
Palate: very smooth, fruity and slightly spicy, raisins, oranges, peaches, toffee, caramel, dash of lemon pepper and cinnamon and just a touch of oak.
Finish: fairly long and sweet, fruity with delicate spiciness.
