Product description
In 2006 Diageo launched The Singleton brand, which included three single malts for three continents – Dufftown for Europe, Glendullan for America and Glen Ord for Asia – all bottled as 12 years old.
The brand has been a tremendous success with combined annual sales of 5 million bottles. Within the last couple of years Diageo extended The Singleton range, the latest expressions are offered usually without age statement, instead the company put emphasis on wood. Glendullan Double Matured was introduced in 2015 and comprises whiskies matured separately in American and European oak casks and then married (according to distillery spokesman) “in a special cask to allow the flavor and complexity to develop”.
